Dream Corporation explores two cities and the idea of one person being a common outlier in either place. Does individuality get compromised across new environments, or do we need to loosen our grip when it comes to fruitful creation?
Photographed by Sohyun Lee featuring Erin Grace Kim, the zine moves through an exploration of in-betweenness: in claiming style, our possession over projects, and the quiet complacency of images that wane between a commercial lookbook and naturally caught moments of introspection. It asks, what is the point of pursuit? What does fulfillment look like? Is it found in the machinery of consecutive output, or in the gilded armor we build along the way to shield ourselves from the smoke and mirrors of “making it out”?
A photo zine project that took course over seasons changing over from a Los Angeles winter to early Seoul spring, Dream Corporation knots new beginnings with a hunch they might be remembered for its renewed, intense energy, budding lock and key collaboration, and momentum romanced by uncertainty.

Dream Corporation은 두 도시를 오가며, 그 안에서 익숙함과 이방인의 경계에 선 한 사람을 비춘다. 새로운 환경을 살아가는 과정에서 우리의 개성은 점차 희미해질까, 아니면 스스로의 틀을 깨고 유연해짐으로써 또 다른 결실을 맺게 될까. 나아가는 흐름 속에서 우리는 무엇을 끝까지 지켜내고, 또 무엇을 자연스럽게 놓아주게 될까.
사진가 이소현과 김애린이 함께한 이 zine은, 단순한 찰나를 넘어, 다양한 ‘사이’의 감각을 탐구한다. 서로의 스타일과 감각을 존중하며 프로젝트를 향한 애정 어린 열정 속에서, 연출된 장면과 자연스럽게 흘러간 사적인 순간들이 조화롭게 담겨 있다.
이 기록은 묻는다. 우리는 무엇을 향해 나아가는가. 진정한 만족은 과연 어떤 모습인가. 기계처럼 쉼 없이 결과물을 찍어내는것인가, 아니면 ‘성공’ 이라는 화려한 허상 속에서도 나를 잃지 않기 위해 스스로를 채워낸 단단한 갑옷, 즉 내면의 힘인가.
로스앤젤레스의 겨울에서 서울의 초봄까지 이어진 Dream Corporation은 새로운 만남이 깨운 강렬한 에너지와 유연하게 맞물린 협업, 그리고 불확실함조차 낭만으로 품고 나아갔던 우리의 기록이다.
