처음 만난 수안님이었지만, 그녀는 선뜻 자신의 공간을 보여주었다. 낯선 사람의 방에 들어가 사진을 찍을 수 있는 일은 흔하지 않기에, 그 시간이 조심스럽고 특별하게 느껴졌다.
씻고, 준비하고, 수다를 나누는 작은 순간들을 기록하는 사이, 수안님은 자신의 삶과 지금의 생각들을 솔직하게 나누어주었다. 청춘이 가진 재미난 고민들, 카메라를 이것저것 함께 만져보던 시간, 그리고 서로에 대해 천천히 알아가는 과정이 그 안에 있었다.
그녀의 인생의 한 챕터를 잠시 들여다본 것 같아, 그 시간이 굉장히 흥미롭고 즐거웠다.
Although it was my first time meeting Suan, she willingly opened up her space to me.
Being invited into someone’s room and photographing them there is not something that happens often, so the time felt careful and special. The interaction was more natural and warm than I expected.
As I documented the small moments of her day, shower, getting ready, and talking, Suan openly shared her thoughts on life and where she is now. Within that time were the funny, honest worries of youth, conversations about using and learning the camera, and the slow process of getting to know each other.
It felt as if I was briefly looking into one chapter of her life, which made the experience both interesting and joyful.
